Track settings define the way how often new points are recorded in your track log, and therefore directly affect the size of your track log files.
Set Auto Start to ON to start track logging automatically at launch.
Use the ‘Configure Recoding Parameters’ settings to reduce the number of points in your track log.
Min Angle – the track logger continuously measures your deviation from the straight line between the last two recorded points in the track log. Unless in your current position the angle of deviation is greater than the Min Angle setting, the current position will not be recorded in the track log.
Min Distance – the track logger continuously measures your distance from the last recorded point in the track log. Unless in your current position your distance is greater than the Min Distance setting, the current position will not be recorded in the track log.
Max Distance – the track logger continuously measures your distance from the last recorded point in the track log. If in your current position your distance is greater than the Max Distance setting, the current position will automatically be recorded in the track log, irrespective of any other Track settings.
Max Time – the track logger continuously measures the time elapsed since the last point was recorded in the track log. If in your current position the elapsed time is greater than the Max Time setting, the current position will automatically be recorded in the track log, irrespective of any other Track settings.
