About GPS Share System Overview With GPS Share you are able to share your actual position with other users using GPS Tuner software. You can also display your parners' position on your PDA or GPS Share website. GPS Share is very useful in situations like: Monitoring your car(s) (small transportation company) Monitoring your friends movement on a trip (hiking, driving, sailing, flying etc.) Playing interactive games on site Requirements If you buy GPS Tuner software you will get the GPS Share service for free. You can upload your own maps up to 500 Kb and can share your position up to 3 partners. To use GPS Share you need a registered GPS Tuner software for Pocket PC. To use GPS Tuner software you have to have: Pocket PC device Windows Mobile 5 or Pocket PC 2003 OS 16 MB RAM (32 MB for VGA) GPS Receiver (NMEA compatible) Active internet connection on your PDA (GPRS or WiFi) Using GPS Share After you have purchased the GPS Tuner Software you will get a Serial Number (like: XXXXXXXX-XXXXXXXX). Then you have to create a registration at the GPS Share site using your Serial Number. Fill out the Registration Form Upload Maps (precalibrated in GPS Tuner): Copy the original map image file (.jpg only) and the calibration file (same name as map file with .gmi extension) to your PC and upload them into the GPS Share. Setup your Partners: You can select which users are able see your position. View your or your buddy's last known position on a map by selecting Online Data funcion.
